How It All Began... |

Sharon and Harold ("Ed") were both born and raised in Burlington, Vermont. However, despite the fact that they grew up in the same town, only one year apart, it wasn't until they enrolled in a Latin class at Rice High School that fate would intervene. Sharon's friend had claimed a seat next to Ed at the beginning of class, but upon entering the room and catching a glimpse of him, Sharon persuaded her friend to swap seats. She stated "at that moment, I knew he was the one." Two years later, Sharon's inital thoughts were confirmed. The two were wed and thus began the Wimette family. |

| Eagar to build upon the newly formed foundation they had just established, they welcomed their first child, David into the world.
The following year, Sharon gave birth to their second child, Timothy, and he was followed shortly after by Robert. Jeffrey was born 2 years later and Todd followed almost three years later. Ed and Sharon welcomed their only daughter, Nicole , into the world and just under five years later, their last child, Jason was born and thus the Wimette family was complete. |

| Although Ed and Sharon's immediate family was complete with the birth of Jason, the Wimette siblings have grown and most now have children of their own. As of this writing, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Trevor, Brandon, Ashley, Kate, Nicholas, Halle, Molly, Ethan, Jackson, Hayden and Taylor have been born into the family (and one more is on the way).
The level of committment to family that is exhibited by each child toward their own families and their sibilings is a direct reflection of the love Ed and Sharon lived, and to continue to live by. |
